NAPMA Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every other month. The lunch meeting starts at 11:00AM and goes until around 12:00PM at Swett's Restaurant located at 2725 Clifton Ave, Nashville, TN 37209. We typically have a guest speaker at every meeting, such as Steve Chapman (Boiler Inspector), Dawn Damon (Metro Water - Grease), Gary Hall (Chief Plumbing Inspector), John Frassinelli (Federated Insurance), Phillip Kirk (Credit & Collections), just to name a few. We will also bring you up to date on what is going on in our industry, such as Local Manufacturers Reps with updates on new products, updates on Water & Sewer from Lance Hornbuckle and Jack Steakley with updates on new state laws. Our members have told us that this is a great way to stay in contact with our local industry and friends. For 2021, the meetings will be on January 26th, March 23rd, May 25th, July 27th & September 28th. End of year meetings are still being planned.
We have our annual Golf Tournament to benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission. We typically have it on the third Friday in June. For 2021, we are just in the planning stages for the tournament, so more information will be posted here as we set a date for it. All proceeds for this tournament go to the Nashville Rescue Mission. To date, we have raised nearly $750,000 for the Mission. There are sponsorships available if you are interested or would like to participate in the tournament. Please contact us below for more information.
Up until last year, we have always had our annual trade show at the American Legion post in Donelson, but for 2020, the American Legion was in the process of moving locations and the COVID-19 had most everything shut down. We are in the planning phase for the 2021 NAPMA Trade Show and we will soon determine a time and place for the event. The trade show will showcase Manufacturers, Reps and Wholesalers that will be there to show us what's happening in our industry and show us new products that have come out recently. It is a very informative event for people working in our industry and we encourage you to attend.
Our Board Members would like to invite you to become a member of NAPMA. Our board members and active members present new ideas to make our organization and our industry better and we need plumbing and mechanical contractors and HVAC contractors to become members so that we can help each other out in our day-to-day business. It is very affordable and you get the support of your local fellow contractors.
